A form of vision, innate to faeries, which "converts the world." It is different than the Mystic Eyes some humans possess. These are said to be the eyes of greater faeries who can pierce through all falsehoods and reveal the truth. For faeries, who conflate goodwill and malice, it is a rather pointless ability. If a human who puzzles over the distinctions between such things were to possess these eyes, however, it would not lead anywhere good.
Thanks to these eyes, Artoria Caster sees the truth behind the lies of all she encounters. As such, she saw the human world as a "storm of malice," and was both frightened and disgusted by faeries and humans alike. While asleep, she dreamt only of the storm of malice. It would have been no surprise had she become so disillusioned that she abandoned her mission to save Britain, but she held on to a single hope: a brilliant blue star she glimpsed beyond the storm.
This post is an opt-in/opt-out for Artoria's Fae Eyes ability, which allows her to literally perceive the truth at all times, and is not something she can willingly turn on and off. The "truth" in this case, however, is not limited only to verbal lies spoken aloud, she sees through all falsehoods. She sees what a person is really thinking when they speak, she sees through magic curses meant to hide one's identity, and she can even see a person's true nature.
This, while extremely interesting and a key part of Artoria's character, may not necessarily be your cup of tea in an RP setting though. What with it essentially meaning that Artoria will always know if your character is lying or anything else about your character that they might want hidden, or you yourself might want hidden as well. It's complicated for me, as well, since I am not canon-familiar with every character there is, I don't automatically know information that Artoria would be privy to as a result of her eyes unless it is brought up to me. Fortunately, Artoria isn't going to just blab about everything she sees, so this is still manageable... but in any case, that's where this comes in.
Would you prefer it if Artoria isn't privy to all of your characters' secrets? Feel free to opt-out of that here. Your character will appear "obscured" to Artoria for reasons unknown, maybe just because they're from different worlds and in a DWRP game setting. The reason doesn't matter, just that Artoria's Fae Eyes will inexplicably not work on your character.
